Try it, its simple and they are good. ALMOND ROCA COOKIES 1/2 lb. butter 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup flour 1 egg yolk 1/2 cup granulated sugar 6 Hershey bars 1 cup flour 1 cup chopped almonds Cream butter and sugars. Add egg yolk. Mix baking powder with flour. Add to butter mixture. Spread evenly in a 9x13 pan. Bake 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Put bars of chocolate on top immediately. Spread when it melts to cover the top. (I put them back in oven for just a minute or two so the chocolate will melt faster). Sprinkle with chopped almonds. Let cool and cut into bars.

Almond Roca Cookies. Hey Chuck, did I read that recipe correct? One cup plus 1/2 pound butter! Is there any flour needed in the mix? I noticed it shows up in the instructions latter on. Please advise. Regards, Joe. ---------- Ship's Custodian of Postal Effects (COPE) 86-91 Former Webmaster, Technical Advisor USSMARS.COM
