Being a baseball fan...Grew up in the St. Louis area...BIG CARDINAL FANS.....I'm looking at the Pittsburg Pirate schedule during reunion week in September...AND...What do you know...Friday night St. Louis Cards play Pirates in Pittsburg. I have suggested to Everett that we would enjoy going to the game...either ourselves or as part of a group. The word from the reunion group is that Friday night will be a FREE night...Wondering how many folks would be interested in going? If you will be joining us for the reunion and would be interested in going to the ball game let me know and I'll find out what we need to do to get a group of seats together for the us. This is a real good idea Bob. I have emailed you the group contact person for the Pirates. I hope that you get a nice number of people willing to attend this game. I have also place a link to the PNC Park web-site on the reunion page, this is the park in which the team plays there games. I hope people will give it some serious thought and send you those emails. Remember that this is an On Your Own Event.

Since the last posting about going to see the PITTSBURG PIRATES vs. ST. LOUIS CARDINALS on Friday night during our reunion, Art Sweetland and I have done some checking and have come up with a proposal. The Pirates have a promotion that gets groups of folks a ticket to the ball game and a souviner ballcap as a package. They have offered to reserve a block of 40 seats without any obligation on our part to sell them all. More can be made available if need be. Cost we think will be in the neighborhood of $25.00 per person including transportation from the hotel to the ballpark and back after the game. Art will have the reunion reservation form available soon and the ballgame trip will be an option for anyone to take advantage of. With Arthurs blessing I have made a reservation for 40 seats at the PITTSBURG PIRATE vs ST. LOUIS CARDINALS baseballgame on Friday September 12th. The seats are in SECTION 127...on the 3rd base side in rows K, L, M, and N. The tickets are for a "HATS OFF" promotion. Everyone attending the game in our group will recieve a Pirates ball cap and the BIG message board will announce our group being there. Total cost per ticket...including transportation to and from our hotel will be $25.00. Other options are being planned for the Friday evening. HI FOLKS.....Just an update.....So far I have gotten confirmed reservations including checks for 12 of us to go to the ballgame Friday night. June 1 I will be paying for the seats...If you would like to join us...$25.00 per ticket includes the ballgame, trasportation to and from the hotel...and a PITTSBURG PIRATES ball cap.
