There are 3 more folks who have told Walt that they are ccoming and "the check is in the mail"HA HA HA.

Total so far is 38 guys from 22 states and shipmates from 1963 to 1983...covering 20 of the MARS 30 years.

A lot of the names are recognizable from the last 3 reunions I have been to and a bunch of new folks to get to know in Oklahoma City.

Also some names are not there...at least so far.....WHERE ARE YOU OSCAR??? Maybe he is still in mourning since his Seattle basketball team picked up and came to GODS COUNTRY.

Remember folks if anyone has any special needs while in Oklahoma City please let us know and we will get you fixed up.

One last note this week...On our lunch stop on Friday in the Oklahoma City BRICKTOWN area.....if you bring your retired ID card or a copy of your dischage paper...you can get a free burger, fries, and drink at TOBY KEITHS "I LOVE THIS BAR AND GRILL".

Well...down to less than 7 days. It seems like its taken forever to get here and now before we know it the 2009 Mars reunion will be history.

FYI.....if you are all planning what to bring to wear next week...the weather here this last week has turned a little cooler. The daytime temps here this week are in the 60's and 70's and night time lows in the 50's and 60's.

For me I'll have a light jacket to carry along Thursday and Friday. Now watch it will be 90's or in the 30's all week. WE HOPE NOT.

We will be in Oklahoma City from Tuesday on next week at the Biltmore Hotel. Anything anyone needs please just holler.
